An invitation to academy directors — and the families you coach — to join Dubai's fastest-growing 3v3 development pathway.

SCROLL TO LEARN MORE

3V3 DXB isn't a simplified version of football. It's a more concentrated one — built to accelerate exactly the skills your academy already works so hard to develop.

01

Why 3v3

Small-sided football removes players from the pitch — but it doesn't remove challenge, it removes hiding places. In 3v3, every player is constantly involved: in possession, out of possession, or transitioning between the two. There is no space to disappear into a formation, and no substitute for the decision-making repetition that actually builds better players.

This is the reason we chose the format — not a marketing angle, a development one.

The evidence base

The FA measured how many times outfield players performed core actions across 3v3, 5v5, and 7v7 formats at its DNA Cup U9 festival at St George's Park, over 10 minutes of ball-in-play time per format. The finding: players passed the ball roughly twice as often per player in 3v3 as in 7v7 — a pattern that held across nearly every action measured, not just passing. Source: Simon Houston, "Exploring technical returns from different game formats," England Football Learning (The FA), 22 Mar 2022. Our matches run 7 minutes rather than the FA's 10-minute sample, so exact totals will differ — but the underlying pattern, roughly double the individual involvement in 3v3, is what this format is built around.

Football for Every Kid

3V3 DXB is not an elite-performance pathway. We compete with the seriousness of a professional operation and speak with the accessibility of a community sports day. Every child, regardless of current ability, gets a genuine pathway to develop and compete — and that principle shapes every rule in our competition, not just our marketing.

Play. Develop. Compete.

How the Development League Works

Three terms a year. Real competition. Never a closed door.

STEP 1
Seeding Matches
Every team plays a set of matches before the season proper begins, so divisions are built on current form — not reputation or guesswork.
→
STEP 2
Regular Season
Friday evening fixtures in matched divisions — a minimum of 5 games a week, genuinely competitive for every team.
→
STEP 3
Half-Term Open
Open to any team — a Championship and a Plate bracket, so everyone plays a full day.
→
STEP 4
Finals Day
Every term, not just once a year — division champions, Most Improved, Fair Play.

Why Academies Choose 3V3

01

Faster technical development

No hiding place means more touches, more 1v1s, and far more decisions per player than a larger format allows. Players get technically sharper simply by playing — it's one of the most efficient development tools available to a coach.

02

A place to keep developing

However advanced a player already is, 3v3 gives them somewhere to keep progressing. It's not a step down from full-sided football — it's a different kind of repetition that full-sided matches can't offer.

03

A safe way in to competition

For players still building confidence, 3v3 is a low-pressure, high-repetition environment to introduce real competitive football — without the intensity or exposure of a full-sided match.

04

A real squad solution

The pool-of-six model and our Free Agent Pool give you a practical way to get every player in your program real minutes — not just your strongest starting group.

Fast. Fun. Football.

05

Getting Your Academy Started

Registering your academy's teams takes the same few minutes as any single team — submit through our standard registration form, once per team, at the standard term rate. There's no separate academy paperwork and no minimum commitment beyond the term you register for.

ItemPrice
Team entry — standardAED 2,800 / term
Team entry — early birdAED 2,500 / term
What that works out to

Term 1 runs 10 touchpoints. Split across a 4-player squad, the early-bird rate works out to roughly AED 62.50 per player, per session — in line with, and slightly above, the standard AED 60 per-head, per-day rate for a drop-in session. The difference: this isn't a drop-in — it's a structured league, refereed matches, and a season-long development pathway for the same per-session cost.

Every child, regardless of ability, should feel that they can play, develop, and compete.
